Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to design and order cards on Simplecard Business, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains how accessible the website is and where it still falls short.

Our aim

We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2. You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 200% and resize text without losing content;
  • use most of the website with a keyboard only, with a “skip to content” link on every page;
  • use the website with a screen reader, with labelled forms and descriptive links;
  • use the website on a phone or tablet, in portrait or landscape; and
  • read text with good colour contrast.

What is not fully accessible yet

We know about these problems:

  • The card editor shows your card as a picture. Moving elements on the card needs a mouse or touch screen, and a screen reader cannot read the picture itself. The guided mode lets you fill in each detail in labelled boxes instead.
  • Card previews and proofs are images. Their alternative text describes them in general terms but does not read out every detail on the card.
  • Payment and sign-in with Google happen on Stripe's and Google's own pages, which we do not control.

We have not yet had the website independently audited for accessibility. We check new pages as we build them and fix problems when we find them.

Getting help or ordering another way

If you find something hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@business.simplecard.example. Tell us what you are trying to do and what would help.

If you cannot use the editor, you can send us your logo and the details for your cards by email, for example in a spreadsheet, and we will help you set up your design and send you the proof to check.

Reporting a problem

Please tell us about any accessibility problem you find, with the page address if you can. We will reply and let you know what we will do about it. If you are not happy with our response, see our complaints page. You can also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service for advice.

About this statement

We prepared this statement on 28 September 2026 and will review it at least once a year, and whenever we make a big change to the website.
